2. What to expect?

21 Dec 2023 From 10:30am Parents/Guardians who have not completed the Secondary 1 registration online will receive a call from the school for support.
By 12:00pm

Please be advised that physical walk-in to the school is strictly by appointment only. You should call the school to make an appointment if you need to meet any of the staff to provide support for your child's / ward's Secondary 1 Registration.

School Uniform Purchase
  • The supplier will be conducting the sale of uniform in school on 22, 26, 27 & 28 Dec 2023, from 9:00am to 3:00pm (close for lunch at 12:00pm - 1:00pm).
  • Alternatively, parents/guardians may opt for walk-in purchase at the supplier's retail outlet by making an appointment via this link or opt for home delivery via online purchase at the supplier's website.
  • More details on the purchase of school uniform can be found in the Secondary 1 Registration Portal.
Textbook Purchases
  • Parents/Guardians can opt for walk-in purchase at the school's bookshop by making an appointment at the supplier's website. The onsite sale of textbook will be conducted on 21 Dec 2023, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, and on 22, 26, 27 & 28 Dec from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
  • Home delivery is also available via online purchase at the supplier's website from 21 Dec 2023 to 28 Dec 2023. As items may take up to 2 weeks to be delivered, parents / guardians are strongly encouraged to complete their online purchase as early as possible. The cost of home delivery is $13.50 per sales transaction.

29 Dec 2023 5:00pm Parents/Guardians will receive a Parent Gateway (PG) notification to inform them of their child's / ward's Form Class in 2024.

Primary 6 students who have just received their secondary school posting in 2023 and wish to appeal for a transfer to Edgefield Secondary School can submit the Appeal Form by accessing this link.

Their PSLE scores should meet the school's cut-off point of the posting year. Transfer will be subjected to available vacancies and the school's admission criteria. Please note that only successful appeals will be contacted by the school by 2 January 2024. If you do not hear from the school by 2 January 2024, the application is deemed to be unsuccessful.

The deadline for the submission of appeals is on 27 December 2023, 12:00pm. Late submissions will not be allowed.
